Interactive installation "Name day" at the Night of the Arts!
This interactive installation will remind you what your name really means to you. How much do you value yourself just by being alive? What kind of emotions will arise from hearing your own personal hymn by a professional choir?
"Name day" was created under the project "Tallinn Culture Capital 2011" and was presented for the first time already in September 2010.
Participants:
Hedi Roots, Jaak Looveer - the authors
Maria Kõrvits – the composer
Youth Mixed Choir "Vox Populis", conductor Janne Fridolin - the performance
Tammo Sumera – technical solutions and sound
Pirkko Runnel – video and montage;
Jaan Malin – lyrics
Luulur, a poet, will join the installation in Pärnu with his own action where he performs personal and unique verbal dedications to bypassers on the streets of Pärnu.
The installaion is opened at the Museum of New Arts in Pärnu:
August 12th from 9.00 to 21.00
August 13th from 9.00 to 21.00
August 14th from 9.00 to 21.00
